Drag Con 2025

I Love attending drag con and have done for a few years now and this is where my love of drag really took off. I have been able to attend drag con for three years now and it is defiantly one of my favourite events to attend.

Drag con is definitely the highlight of the year and with it being in January it’s always a good start to the year.

Drag Con is a exclusive way for fans of drag to meet their favourite queens from the tv show Ru Pauls drag race. The event is run by world of wonder and hosted at the Excel in London. The event allows you to meet and greet queens, see performances, buy merch and listen to panel talks.

Tickets

When it comes to buying a ticket for the event there are multiple options:

• day tickets

• Vip day tickets

• Weekend tickets

• vip weekend tickets

There isn’t much difference in what you get in VIP compared to the general tickets so I always save tickets and get the general ticket.

The ticket ONLY gets you into the event. When you are in the event you then have access to everything on offer no matter what ticket you have.

Meeting the queens

When it comes to meeting your favourite queens from around the world it is an amazing experience and this is how it works:

• Find who you want to see on the map and head to there booth.

• Join the vip or general queue (this doesn’t happen at all booths)

• Buy the merch you want. To meet the queen there is a minimum spend but this allows you to have their merch as well as a meet and greet and photo opportunity.

• This is the same for each queen. Minimum spend varies from £10 - £50. This allows you to meet favourite queens from around the world including winners and hosts of other franchises as well as Michelle visage.

Panel talks

Over the years there have been many panel talks and filming for tv shows there.

In 2023 and 2024 they filmed bring back my girls with TS Maddison. This featured TS Maddison and seasons of queens. Eg: every queen from UK series 6.

In 2025 they filmed touch ups with Raven. This featured raven and different Ru girls from around the world.

Drag con use to be over 3 days but in 2025 they scaled the event back to 2 days to make it easier for the queens and organisers.

I find this the best time of year to get content on all things drag. I create personalised drag con maps to make it easier for people to find who they want to meet and I plan on continuing this in the future however with the future of drag con being so unknown this is on hold until we know more.
